After some crackers with no snaps in as the dog freaks out at those sort of popping/banging noises.

suggestions please. 🎅

Depends on your budget, but you could either get a make-your-own kit and just omit the snaps (time consuming, though!)

e.g.

or

Buy eco reusable ones. The velcro makes a crackle rip noise, so wouldn't scare dogs/those of a nervous disposition!

Pretty pricey initial outlay, but I guess pay for themselves as no need ever to replace. You also need to factor in cost of adding extras inside.

Can you take the strip out somehow?

DogInATent · 01/12/2022 22:05

Just remove the snap. They slide out from the end.

ThaliaLuxurySpa · 01/12/2022 22:06

Oh yes...forgot about that!

I cut the snap, one of our dogs absolutely hates anything that goes bang.
I generally buy make your own cracker kits but last year the ones I bought were ready made but with one end left open to put the gift in. The snaps are usually glued in place but easy to snip. It’s years since I’ve had normal crackers but I assume you’ll be able to undo one end, cut the snap then re tie the end
