Activity advent calendar

This is my first year doing an activity advent calendar for my children. They have cheap chocolate ones too but I've bought a wooden one with an activity in for each day. I've already filled it but doubled up on the movie nights. Any ideas welcome, I think I've been to ambitious day 1 and 2 are hand making 30 Christmas cards for his class mates 😳

Day 3: buy a photocopier

How old are the kids?
Maybe once a week you could do something to help other people e.g. shop for, and donate items to the local foodbank, a litter pick in your local park or along your street, sweep up leaves from the pavement (if they're anything like round here the council never does them and they're becoming a slippery mess!).
Any local Santa parades or Santa runs? If you've got a local junior parkrun most do Xmas fancy dress or Santa hats the last Sunday before Christmas.
Baking
Any xmas food prep they could help with if you make things in advance or for the freezer.
Clear out the toy cupboard before Santa brings new things.
Paper chain decorations.
Paper snowflakes (those where you fold a circle into half, and half again etc and snip bits out then unfold it)
Decorate the Xmas tree
Homemade snow globes
Stained glass windows - black paper / card and cut out the insides then cover the gaps with coloured tissue paper.
Local carol concert
Evening walk to look at the Xmas lights
Salt dough decorations
Learn how to wrap a present
Play "beetle" but make a reindeer instead of a beetle
Festive word search or crossword
Hand deliver christmas cards locally. If you have any elderly neighbours they might appreciate a hand with this.

My son is 7 most of this is aimed at him,
I have 2 daughters 2 and 10 weeks so less they won't have a scooby. My 2 year old will join in with most things. I like the idea of going shopping for a few bits to donate that seems like a good lesson to teach him and a Christmas tradition I'd be proud to pass down to them, I'll attach my current list. Ignore the dots. Green dot means I've got the stuff to do it. Orange means it's bought and on the way, red means yet to buy.

Switch bingo for beetle and then all you need is a set of dice and pen & paper.
If you turn gingerbread men upside down you can decorate them as reindeer.

Christmas jumper day too if you've got them!

Anyone know what you need for a Christmas party? We're throwing a little get together for both our families I'm at our house, kinda invited them with no follow up plan? I mean alcohol and food is a given, but what do I do when they're here? 😂

a couple of little party games if there's a few kids maybe but other than that i'd just feed and water them!
