Christmas Tree Skirts

We have a lovely new artificial tree this year and I’m really happy with it - it’s really full and bushy. But, it seems to have a larger than normal space at the bottom.

Looking to get a tree skirt (either a wicker/metal one etc, not fabric) but most seem to be 25/26cm talk - our gap is 45cm 😬 has anyone seen a tall tree skirt anywhere? Is this even a thing? 🙈😂

Can you lop a bit off?! I was going to suggest our white company one as I remember it being quite high…then I checked and it was only 28cm!

@TheBelmont there doesn’t seem to be any way of taking any off and I’m reluctant to try and cut it as it was pretty expensive 🙈 it just seems to be a very big gap 😅

The square ones seem to be a bit taller. There are some on eBay that are 33cm tall.

How about filling the gap with some “stunt presents”? 😁 just get some empty boxes wrap them in fancy paper and strategically build them around the base? Pretend Santa’s been early!

@CactusFlowers Oh, thank you! I didn’t think of eBay. I’ll have a look 👍🏻

@TheBelmont That was actually my original thought 😅 I even went and bought some beautiful paper that matches the tree decor (Yes, I’m one of those matchy matchy tree people 🙄🤣 don’t all come at me!) but I have a toddler and I can only imagine how that will end up 😅🤣

They had quite tall wicker ones in B&M last year, not sure if they are there this year though.

@RichardOsmansXraySpecs thank you! I’ll have a look 😊
