Need a cordless handheld hoover that is not a dyson

I've always bought Dyson, but I've had enough!!! The second they're out of warranty the battery dies! It's like it has a timer. What else should I go for?

Bearing in mind, Dyson make vacuum cleaners, Hoover make Hoovers. I have had my Dyson battery handheld for about 8 years,no problems, used daily (2 long hair dogs) I also have a Shark which is brilliant, thinking of gifting it to DD and upgrading. Belldray are meant to be very good,as well, selling a wand model in LIDL at the moment for just under £60. I would never waste large amount on an upright Dyson, again

Vax blade, one with a twin battery option.
Good suction, easy to manoeuvre, a dream to use.

Not a G tech handheld one. I can create more suction with a bendy straw! Utterly useless IMHO.

I have the gteck pet one. I love it. It’s not my main hoover because I have 7 kids and a cat and a dog… so have a hardy Henry for the most part but I use the g tech upstairs a lot and I honestly love it. It picks up alot. Battery is good! Love it

I have a Dyson and a Shark and prefer the Shark for everything except how often is clogs.

How petty, hoover has entered common parlance for a name for a vacuum cleaner.

Have just bought a Hoover cordless one, its light as a feather but still pretty powerful.

charge lasts around 45 minutes, takes just over 2 hours to full charge.

Bought for my elderly mum but its not comparing too badly to my shark 😊
has a couple of attachments, breaks down to do stairs and upholstery, was about £200 in Currys

emmathedilemma · 25/11/2022 13:15

i have a shark upright that adapts into a cordless. The only downside of it I would say is that it's quite heavy because of the battery pack if you're hoovering high up e.g. cobwebs out of cornices.

nannybeach · 25/11/2022 17:05

It hasn't entered my parlance. Typical MN reaction. Same on another post, because I detest slang, although I gave replies to poster.

Applecottagetree · 25/11/2022 17:12

I have a Vax blade pet and its very good

Maybe not yours but for most it has .....

I have a Morphy Richards one can't remember the model but is on par to my old Dyson handheld which battery died as you say outside of warranty.

boobot1 · 26/11/2022 20:30

Sharks are the best, having tried many

MetellaInHortoEst · 26/11/2022 20:32

I’ve just bought a dust buster. I have t had one since the 90s, but I couldn’t get on with the cordlesss stick things. The dust buster is fabulous for keeping on top of it between big weekly or fortnightly cleans.

PumpkinLumpkin · 26/11/2022 20:35

We're going to buy the new Henry Quick
