Handbag suitable for elderly mum

Can anyone suggest where I might find a small black handbag with a shoulder strap suitable for my mum in her 80s? M & S, Next etc. all look too trendy for her, it needs to be plain without any gold or silver embellishments! Budget around £50. Thanks

I have a plain black backpack from Mia tui. They do other styles too.

Are these too embellished for her? Just trying to get a sense of what she wants.

It would be good if you could say why your mother cannot bear embellishment or fashionability in accessories, @NeverNaughtyNanna. Cognitive difficulties? A funeral? Apologies if the reason is a miserable one.

Thank you for your suggestions but the Mia Tui bags are too big, Mum only carries a purse and keys. The Apsley bags look good. The reason Mum doesn’t like embellishments is that she feels they are too young for her and she is quite a conservative dresser.

Lakeland leather has some nice plain black leather cross body bags.
