Who has asked for precisely nothing - aghhhh.

He is getting his room redecorated next year and he's asked for RGB lights for his wall and skirting (his friend has it) but not really sure what he means.

He has everything he could possibly want for his set up but it would any other ideas would be amazing.

He's also massively into cars too.

Oh, and he's asked for aftershave for first time. Is there an alternative to Lynx and the like or is this just what I need to go with for the next few years ;)

RGB just means Red, Green and Blue lights - they usually come in strips. My DC2's room looks like a nightclub with them. I would go for decent ones, the cheap ones break very quickly and you then get "dead" spots. He currently has these lights

Funny gaming t-shirts and hoodies always go down well - there are loads available. This sort of thing

If you know what he plays you could get something specific on that - Aliexpress can be positively bargainous but maybe a bit too late to order now in time for Christmas. Fortnite pyjamas were a hit a few years ago

Tickets for a gaming convention also went down well (we are in London and went to EGX) although in hindsight, I would have forked out for an extra ticket and let him go around with a friend - it was a loooooong day since he wanted to try everything and there were queues for the popular future releases!

For aftershave, Lynx is passe here but CK, David Beckham and Boss are acceptable and there are some good Black Friday deals on those. I would go for cologne rather than aftershave unless he is actually shaving.

If he has everything IT related already then some things often need replaced such as a decent gaming mouse mat, a headset stand or hook or maybe some backlights for his screen if he doesn't have already. My eldest also appreciated a nice memory foam footrest and a thing to attach to the desk to put his screens on so the stands don't use up space on the desk.

As for aftershave, unless he is expressing a preference, something like CKIn2U or some of the designer brands maybe- there seems to be lots of good deals on small bottles around which would be ideal as you could get a couple for him to try.

Gaming gifts - also think about his favourite games too such as last year we got a Halo light. Type in game title and memorabilia or merch.

You can get wall strip RGBs or some free standing units - type RGB gaming into amazon etc. I also upgrade things they already have like gaming headsets. If you type in gamer setup into YouTube and have a look it may spark inspiration. If he twitch streams gamers like their gamer tag in lights.

We’ve done tickets for insomnia for our 13 year old and also got two geometry dash tops from Ali express. Done a few clothes and books. He’s also asked for spices.

Thank you - especially to the RGB lights explanation. He'd love Insomnia - such a shame it's in Birmingham (nothing against Birmingham, it's just a bit far).
