Looking for a tablet for dd 11. Can anyone tell me a good tablet that can play Roblox? (NOT Amazon fire tablets)

I think my kid has the Samsung tablet, I didnt buy it though so dont know much about it but its lasted a long time (like 7 years I think) and still gets used.

I found that tablets are not that great for playing roblox, your best off getting a laptop.

It seems normal laptops aren’t good for games so it would need a gaming one and they are £££ well out of my price range.

I asked DS14 who spends his life on roblox, he said computers are best, but he does play on his iPad a lot aswell. He said the pc is best though.

We were looking for the same and have decided on an Xbox instead. Best tablets for Roblox seemed to be Samsung galaxy s7 for around £450 or iPad Air 2020 onward - also pricey.

If it's a tablet honestly iPad is the best

I don't think you need a gaming laptop to play Roblox. Any half decent one will do.

Any of the recent models of tablets by the bigger names like Samsung and Apple. Works great on my ipad. You can get ipads through Sky on pay monthly. Possibly other devices as well. Cheaper brands don't run it quite so well, like the amazon tablets.

She currently has the amazon fire and it’s awful she can’t play it at all, it just kicks her out of every roblox game 🤷‍♀️ very slow and lags a lot so she’s due an upgrade

We recently got the latest version of a lenovo tablet for around £200.

DD plays roblox and other games on it.

Any cheaper and the there wasn't enough internal storage to make it something that would last. We got 128gb.

iPad for sure

My 9 yo plays on our IPad daily. It's a 2018 model and works fantastically with Roblox and the other apps she has.

Not sure if that helps in anyway but maybe a 2nd hand marketplace find could be more budget friendly for what you need.

Agree with you on the fire tablets, her little sister has one and it's just functional enough for her at 3 years old let alone any older.

My DC play roblox on a combination of devices DD and DSD switch between iPad and laptop, DSD does have a gaming laptop and DS a gaming PC but DD just has a standard notebook laptop (bought at start of covid for around £180, a small 14" lenovo) and it seems to work great on this too, none of them complain about the game lagging etc so I don't think it needs to be a gaming pc to work.

iPad. We all have them now (2 x teens/near teens) and wouldn’t switch back to android. They just work!

DS and DD both play roblox on their iPads quite happily ( although more than I’d like!(

I've worked in childrens app development and Fire tablets are crap. So slow and laggy, I wouldn't waste my money on one.

Is it a kids Amazon Fire she has? Because they are crap. My dd has the latest Amaxon Fire tablet (not kids version) and she plays Roblox a lot on that with no problem whatsoever. Slso has an Ipad and again no problems with Roblox. If you are dead set against a Fire then I'd just get an Ipad

No it’s not a kids it’s the normal one we’ve had a few of them and they’ve all been the same, I don’t want to risk buying another even if it’s newer (she’s autistic and these have been the cause of many meltdowns)

My son played on his Samsung A8 tablet for years and it was fine. Now he's started playing on my husband's old Mac laptop and there's no looking back! He much prefers it to the tablet. However, until he tried playing on the Mac he was perfectly happy on the tablet...

Sorry I answered the tablet thing not the roblox thing but yes I agree PC or console are best for minecraft and roblox.

I just posted the same on a similair thread / every Amazon tablet we have had has been totally crap. Roblox on the iPad is great

DD plays on her Ipad (not the latest version).We only have issues when the internet is crappy or her storage is full so it becomes a bit laggy. She has been using it for years and hasn't had any real complaints.
