Stocking fillers for 80yo lady in nursing home

Hi there,

I'd love some nice ideas for what I can pop in a stocking for an 80 year old but young at heart lady who will be in a nursing/residential care home on Christmas Day

Only restrictions are no alcohol or candles, and must be small enough to fit in an average shop bought stocking.

Thank you!

A big can of iced tea

Love the comment about the older folks being super competitive about the number of cards they received!

TurkeyTrouble · 23/11/2022 20:09

How young at heart is she... Would 'Cards against humanity' go down well? ;-)

Seriously though whilst I have no useful suggestions this is such a lovely thing to do. I hope she has a lovely Xmas ❤️

Can you take her out? What about tickets to see a show in the new year? Something to look forward too and a great talking point with her fellow guests in the home.

Bloody hell…no alcohol…they’re gown up not under 18. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I want neat gin if I have to live in nursing home 😳

It's for medical reasons, no idea if its banned in general

Thank you, hope this helps someone else as it's a lovely idea.
I'm just looking for little stocking fillers rather than proper gifts, already sorted on that point
