so what I’ve noticed with Amazon is that if you are umming and aahing about something, I order it with a trash card (I have a prepaid MasterCard on there) that has no money on and then it will come through as ‘payment declined, please update payment details’ but the order has been made at the reduced price- so you have more time to think, I think it cancels after a set amount of time but it used to be up to 3 days (it warns you of the time remaining to order)

Another tip if you’re not 100% sure about an Amazon bargain - book a Prime delivery day for a week’s time (only if you have Prime obviously), then you can cancel if you need to
