Kate's clothing have some lovely goth clothes including some killstar, they have a clearance section and an extra 50% off clearance with code CLEARMENOW
Never used them personally but 4.9 rating on trustpilot

Thank you! I’ll check them out right now!!

redjoker · 23/11/2022 09:58

@Georgieporgie29 Its this one? (just confirming) Not the Eau de Parfum right?

SirLottie · 23/11/2022 10:00

Costa have a gift card/ e-gift offer - spend £20 and they will make it up to £25

LunaCrystal · 23/11/2022 10:05

Also with Costa it says spend £60 for £15 free. The app is good too, the latest promotion is a free drink when you scan it

AlbertCampion · 23/11/2022 10:06

@RainbowPhilosophy for pocket knives we swear by Victorinox - the original Swiss Army knives. They're great quality, surprisingly affordable and can be personalised. We each have one in this house and I use mine daily (mostly for opening parcels from this thread!). I really recommend the children's ones, which have a blade lock on them - 9 yo DS uses his for whittling.

Howmanysleepsnow · 23/11/2022 10:06

Not into Harry Potter! So I guess that narrows it down a bit.
Thank you so much!

SnowJamz · 23/11/2022 10:09

Does anyone know of a discount or free delivery code for Claire’s accessories please? Only want a couple of things so delivery cost isn’t worth it.

Smileatthesmallthings · 23/11/2022 10:10

@Howmanysleepsnow I have a collection of the botanical Lego (and if I don't get either the Orchid or Succulents for Christmas I will be a bit sad!) I'd recommend The Bonsai Tree. it's a nice build, a little fiddly but is a gorgeous display and has the option to change the green leaves to pink. It's also one of the cheaper 'grown up' ones. The Bird of Paradise is expensive but quite large and dramatic and the botanicals bouquet is just lovely in a vase. If you want a more kiddy option then the little sunflowers are very sweet.

Ah thank you - I had looked at that brand on Amazon so good to know. It's for a man in his 60s so I won't get him the children's version 😁 The micro machines however are for an almost 7 year old who has discovered his dad's from the 80s and loves them!

redjoker · 23/11/2022 10:16

@Howmanysleepsnow I am very into lego as an adult and recommend all f the flower sets, but something more on budget I bought myself this, and a Halloween version and they were very nice to build

This is also on my list

Thank you for the beer 52 calendar I've looked for an alcohol one for dh for years and could never justify the price so he's never had one.

He'll be made up with this.

That beer52 advent is a real bargain. For future years though if your DH really wants one I do a 'homemade' one for DH where I'll buy different beers I know he'll like through the year when I see them on offer and stash them till I have 24. Then from 1 Dec he gets a mystery one in the fridge waiting for him every day. Works out miles cheaper than buying an advent and this way theres no dodgy ones I know he wont like.

TheBigFish · 23/11/2022 10:23

@AlabamaWorley22 used your Night referral code too, thanks. Thanks also to pp for the idea, beautiful PJs. That I don't need but a nice treat. Got some gorgeous ones for DM and Christmas ones for DC.

My contribution is 15% off gifts at Ding Dong Dim Sum. Code is BFGIFTS. Ordered a bundle for DH which includes bamboo steamer and dips. He will also get a gift card with it to order dim sum for two.

ColeslawSandwich · 23/11/2022 10:25

@AlbertCampion thanks for the Swiss Army knife info. I’ve had a look on Victorinix but there are so many varieties! Could you recommend a basic, household one? Thanks very much.

Scout2016 · 23/11/2022 10:30

Tom and Jerry top has been claimed.

Good evening! The D&D set above looks perfect for my DSIL but Amazon won’t let me check out with it!

Has anyone got any tips for ‘Goth clothing’ on the cheap please? DD14 has just decided she doesn’t like Barbie Pink anymore. She loves Killstar but the prices are huge. TIA

dd has found quite a bit of emo/goth stuff on SHEIN

Ridingladybugs · 23/11/2022 10:37

@CatelynStark - could I ask are the pjs 100% cotton? I think I’m being dense but can’t seem to find where it tells me the material make up.

AlbertCampion · 23/11/2022 10:38

@ColeslawSandwich DH has the medium Huntsman Wood one, which is chunky and has lots of different tools. It has a lovely finish and made a great present. I have a more basic one - I think mine is a Spartan. If I were choosing again I would opt for one with scissors and a saw!

If anyone is looking for little stocking fillers on this vein I also have a keyring Victorinox which I absolutely love and use all the time. It's surprising how useful it is to have tweezers, a knife and scissors constantly available when you're out and about!

1stTimeMama · 23/11/2022 10:38

Magik01 · 23/11/2022 08:35

@1stTimeMama I second Chelsea peers, really lovely pjs. A little pricey but defo a treat!

they have some on asos like this cute pair. Obviously your mum can button them up (if she wants too!) 😂

🤣 That'd be quite the Christmas memory for everyone were she to potter around like this on Boxing Day!

ColeslawSandwich · 23/11/2022 10:40

@AlbertCampion thanks, they’re great pointers. I might get the keyring for myself too.

redjoker · 23/11/2022 10:41

@NightOwl101

This set on Amazon is also SUPER cute
This set is nice depending on budget
Aldi have loads including this cocomelon one
