24 advent activities.

Can't see a thread on this yet this year- please feel free to signpost me towards one. Looking to collate a simple activity advent for 9 yo. Was thinking of having a Christmas box and a new activity in it each day

Eg
Christmas word search
Write and deliver cards to neighbours
Go to christingle service
Walk round street and admire the lights
Find 5 Christmas jokes

Etc etc

Simple enough for full time working parents to facilitate.

Care to add to my list?

Make paper chains or snowflakes (or both)
Hot chocolate & Xmas movie night
One of those ‘decorate the Xmas biscuit’ things you can get from supermarkets
Print off an Xmas scene picture to paint or colour
Go to the supermarket and choose something to put in the food bank or toy collection
Ice skating

Ours is having different board games to play, film suggestions, baking.

Maybe simple crafts? Lots of ideas on pinterest. Collect and spray paint pine cones for your tree. Paper chains. Suncatchers.

Decorate stones Christmas themed to hide around local parks/area. Quite popular where we live.

Get some photo props or hats/tinsel etc. And take silly photos. We do this every year!
