Has anyone seen any good deals ?

I've been looking for a tree and seen a nice one but it's £200. Is that the norm these days ?

The price will vary according to the size. What are you looking for?

6ft/7ft that doesn't look cheap.

It's maybe the going rate (and I will obv pay it) but just thought it was expensive

My sister works in a garden centre and says that they are much more expensive than last year - so if you spent £60 last year, expect to spend £85 this year. £200 does sound like a lot - are you looking at a real one?

No but I didn't rule it out. It was a nice one I seen on a Facebook thread, I just don't know if that's reasonable

We pay £60 for our real tree each year.

We did have a fake one but it didn't make the house smell lovely!

I can highly recommend this one which is within your budget. Had it three years now and I still love it when we put it up www.diy.com/departments/6ft-thetford-natural-looking-pre-lit-artificial-christmas-tree/5059340476360_BQ.prd

I bought a 6ft Ultra Mountain Pine tree from Christmas tree world last year for £160 and I love it. I ummed and ahhed about it for a while to the price but then thought the current tree I bought in the Woolies sale for £70 and was over 10 years old, and if this one lasts as long it will be worth it. I sold my old tree on Facebook market place for £20 I think.

Is it an option to wait until after Christmas? We got ours on sale and got a much nicer tree for our money than we could have afforded before Christmas. We’ve had it years.

Have a look at Christmas Tree World, they have several 7ft trees under £200, including some pre-lit. We have their 8ft ‘Woodland Pine’ and son bought himself one as he was so impressed with ours.
Very nice helpful people to deal with.

Thanks, I have just bought a 7ft tree from Christmas Tree World for £120 (was £240 apparently). They have quite a few half price.

I went for the Arbor Vitae. A few people on mumsnet recommended the Woodland Pine but that was £100 more and had less reviews on the CTW website:
