OliviaFlaversham · 20/11/2022 12:43

I thought I had screen shot the sass and belle code but haven’t. Can’t see it when scrolling either.

If I haven’t imagined it, please could someone share it? Thanks!

oriel2013 · 20/11/2022 12:44

Thanks everyone for helping with the sock challenge! Yes @Justhereforthechristmasthreads and @Athlebad I think that's exactly what she means. I'll report back if I spot any bargains athlebad!

Rainraingoaway21 · 20/11/2022 12:44

Thankyou @Justhereforthechristmasthreads I've just ordered a print for my tricky to buy for BIL!

hannahbanana2007 · 20/11/2022 12:44

Somewhere either earlier on this thread or the last one recommended dibor.co.uk for Christmas decorations etc; I've looked on their website and the stuff looks lovely on the photos, does anyone have any experience of what the quality is like in reality? Just worried it will be very plasticky and fake looking!

There's some lovely kits there, any idea of which would be good for a fairly young beginner? I'm wondering if they'd make nice presents for 6 year olds as a give it a go sort of set.

I'd go for the starter kit

Lots of basic supplies and plenty of paper to ge grithemith the

Can anyone suggest a fitness tracker please? Dd (20) wants one only to count steps. Not bothered about anything else but I suppose it would need a watch as she wouldn’t wear both.
She has various health issues and does best on a certain level of exercise. She thought it would be a good idea to know how far she walked each day.
Might just be an idea that doesn’t last so don’t want to pay too much. Plus I’d already finished for her!
Also she’s not a fan of anything sporty. Much prefers her jewellery so I’m a bit stumped.

Maybe just a cheap-ish pedometer, and if she likes it you could look at the Bellabeat Leaf for a birthday/Christmas? A friend had one and I didn't realise it wasn't jewellery until I asked about it. She wears it as a bracelet, brooch or necklace.

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 20/11/2022 12:48

*and plenty of paper to get to grips with the art mediums

Ridingladybugs · 20/11/2022 12:55

@MerculesHorse - I’ve had some of the boxes for my 7 year old from
soemone. They are lovely but they are probably a bit old for a 6/7year old - or rather would be a bit lost on them.

MerculesHorse · 20/11/2022 12:57

Sisisimone · 20/11/2022 12:06

I used them for some walking boots for DH a couple of months ago. Were about £20 cheaper than elsewhere and had no problems at all.

Fab, thank you!

if anyone is after nice football prints that are a bit different then this site is lovely. Saw the chap at the Festive Gift Fair and bought a print for my step sons birthday. Code SHOWOFFER gives 25% off

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads thank you for that! I will get DH the Goodison Park one.

@EachandEveryone it was Yes Chef someone kindly told me on a previous thread. I can’t see they’re doing them yet this year or it’s too late, they say out of stock on the Christmas boxes but were weeks ago when I first looked. I was really impressed with mine last year.

We had a Christmas box last year and it was great. I remember getting it on Black Friday at 50% off so maybe they've not launched them properly yet.

HalfasleepChrisintheMorning · 20/11/2022 13:07

I got a wreath last year from Dibor and it’s lovely, not plasticky at all.
Waiting for some garlands to be delivered and will update.

MerculesHorse · 20/11/2022 13:10

@Ridingladybugs @WeAreTheWeirdosMister thanks, tempted to get one for myself and he can always join in 😊

nicky2512 · 20/11/2022 13:23

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams
Ooo! Beautiful! Had never heard of those before. They look great! That’s definitely worth trying. Thank you.

Turtleoo · 20/11/2022 13:27

Inspired by the sock chat, I'd love a pair of fleece lined socks but all the ones I can see seem to have the sticky dots on the bottom to be non slip, which I hate. If anyone sees any that don't have this, please share! Ideally no more than the £10 mark

@Turtleoo look for cabin or chalet socks, I’ve picked them up in tkmaxx for around £5 a pair, Joules & Seasalt do them too.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 20/11/2022 13:31

Next are selling all three wick bath and body works candles for £17.50 this weekend, including all the Christmas ones! That's a bargain for the UK anyway. I've just been to the new store in Bluewater and spent far too much but it was a great store.

HoneyPea · 20/11/2022 13:44

After finally managing to get a bar of chocolate it was delivered last night in a box and left behind my bins. I was out and didn't find the box until this morning it was soaked through so now I have soggy chocolate 🤦‍♀️
