Christmas Tree Stand

Can anyone recommend a really sturdy Christmas Tree stand, for big (7ft plus) real trees? We have one of the old style ones, a sort of cylinder with three legs coming out at different angles. It does the job, but now I want a Christmas tree skirt/collar, I am finding it's just too wide to find one that will fit. I'm looking at the options on Amazon, but they just look too small to reliably hold up a big tree!

We bought this .... a lot more to it than the regular stands.

We got a Krinner premium XL stand for our 7ft tree. It looks too small to work but it does and it’s as solid as a rock!

We got a Krinner too and it’s excellent. Very easy to use and v solid

Thank you! Think a Krinner XL is out of my budget though, sadly!

Try home sense or tkmaxx

they have loads for trees 7ft+ for about £15

the one I bought for £15 retails for £50!

We have a cinco one, and a (cheap) tree skirt because I wasn’t sure how easily it would fit over the top and didn’t want to waste a lot of money. I’m not sure how I would water it if the tree skirt was one of the rigid wraparound ones, although that is what I would much prefer.

Krinner is the bomb - I got mine of eBay for a much reduced cost and it was well worth it.

Thanks again all. I have been looking at the Cinco ones. EBay is a good option for the Krinner, perhaps I'll try there. Looking at them, hopefully I won't need an XL, which seem to be about £100 and not available second hand. Some of the other varieties seem to support trees just over 8ft and are cheaper so that will (hopefully) be enough.

As in, some of the other varieties of Krinner support trees of just over 8ft, so will hopefully work....
