What size turkey?

So turkeys, the size they suggest feeds, do you stick to that or go bigger? We are 7 adults and 1 little person. Crown or whole turkey? Bigger ones are sold out so if I get a crown for 6-8 will we be hungry? Not so fussed on having enough meat to last the week, but would like enough for buffet later in the day

I think it will be fine especially if you have sides with it eg pigs in blankets, stuffing as well as vegetables.
