New job, so I'm not sure what kind of things they normally get, but it's a £10 limit. It's for a 60 year old woman.
Any ideas please?
I was thinking christmas earrings as she wears different earrings for the seasons, maybe some chocs to go with, is it a bit boring?

I think that sounds nice.

I think if people join a secret Santa they know the sorts of things they are likely to get.

I'm getting a set with a hot water bottle and nice hot chocolate and Bailey's chocolate for mine. I hope it is fairly inoffensive.

I think earrings are a thoughtful gift if you've noticed she likes to vary them and chocolates never go to waste.

SquigglePigs · 13/11/2022 19:06

I think that's an excellent choice if you've noticed she likes fun earrings. I'd have been delighted with that as a secret santa present!

We have a rule that it has to come from a charity shop! Things have become quite inventive since we did that.

Inasec24 · 13/11/2022 19:35

I would probably just do £10 worth of scratchcards.

God I would hate that, I’m never near a charity shop. It would be such a trek…

travailtotravel · 13/11/2022 19:56

I'm not normally near one either but charities also sell things online. It's not all tat, it's a huge amount more ethical. Everyone was in agreement about doing it.

purser25 · 13/11/2022 20:08

What about an Amaryllis always nice cost about £5 maybe some earrings as well

GEC44 · 13/11/2022 20:10

Chocolates are always a winner. Or if she drinks, a naice bottle of wine.

Gwdihooooo · 13/11/2022 20:15

What other topics/themes do others suggest?

Thanks for all the ideas, I think I'll go with the earrings and something else to go with it, maybe an amaryllis, good idea
