Hi everyone
My kids are 6 and 4 and I'm thinking of a tablet each for Christmas

I'm looking at the Amazon kindle fire

Can anyone make any recommendations or point me to any deals etc???

Budget no more than £100 per tablet

Axon kindle tablets are not particularly fancy, but for the ages and budget you suggest they are perfect.

My nearly 6 year old twins have amazing fires (bought for entertaining them on a long flight) and they use them to watch tv/movies, play simple games or listen to audiobooks.

They are perfect for their needs.

I know some parents prefer ipads, wether new or passed down for their children, but the fire tablet (she has the HD 8) has worked for dgds needs. She's had the kids version for a few years now with zero issues, it has a few benefits like quarentee, child safe content and parental control over access. She's ready to move up tablet wise and her parents decided not to go down the ipad route just yet so they've gone with the new kids hd pro (age 6 upwards) which is a bit more grown up, they've bought her the wireless keyboard to go with it and a screen protector as the new one doesn't have the thick child bumper case. If you do go down the amazon tablet route don't pay full price, it will be on offer Black Friday a hell of alot cheaper.

My two dc got Kindle Fires for Christmas a few years ago. I got them for about £50 each during Black Friday. They were amazing value. They did everything needed and lasted for ages too.

Forgot to say I liked them so much I bought myself a higher spec one and I love it. I have it about three years now and it's still perfect.

Look at Samsung Galaxy tablets, they have some good ones in the A series.

Blackview has some kids tablets too. You can buy from amazon and some local retailers have them too. There are a few different models, are pretty cheap and come with a kids case which is great. I would say they're pretty good value for money.
