Can anyone recommend a nice decaff filter coffee? I'm looking for a nice blend for MIL- the powder, not beans.

Thank you!

Do you mean ground beans (like for a cafetiere) or instant powder?

Fuffedoff · 10/11/2022 12:53

I think more ground beans or the type to go through filter paper.

Any chance you could order from amazon.fr ? Grand-mère is pretty good. Have to admit I just buy the cheapest.

lavazza decaf in a blue packet is the best I’ve found after extensive experimentation.

This is the decaf I drink. You can get it ground for the type of filter you use (with the paper it might be a V60?) It's not as good as their proper coffee, but I'm on pregnancy rationing!

If you have somewhere locally that said sells coffee then they'll likely also grind it for you and have decaf options.

Not quite what you asked but I got my dad a set of coffee bags ( like tea bags) from around the world. He enjoyed trying all the different types and not having to use a whole bag if each type. Would that work?

We get our coffee from Roast and Post, they will send beans or ground. You can get a sample box, we’ve done this, they will send it as a gift to someone else. It’s only when you place your order that the beans are roasted and ground, so they’re really fresh and arrive the next day.
We’ve been using them for years and never had a problem, look them up.
