Digital Drawing Tablet

Hi All, hoping someone can help. My daughter (12) has asked for a Digital Drawing Tablet for christmas and I am clueless. Can anyone recommend a starter one that might be suitable, but durable ideally with a screen. Also do these have to be connected to a PC/Laptop to save the drawings... TIA

I saw some in hmv last week. I was going to get one for my ds.
They are £21.99 and look good quality, kenji brand.

I opted for a samsung tab 6 lite with pen, as it can be used without needing a computer, and on the go. I paid £209 which was a bit better than the other leading ones with screens. She uses Ibis x paint which is great.

They aren't specifically drawing tablets, but some of the models are ideal for use with a digital pen/pencil.
