Are they any good? DD wants one

We had one and it worked once then not again. We ended up getting a slush puppy machine which has been great. Maybe we were just unlucky though.

Don't waste your money! We've had three over the years, the last bought last month at my youngest's insistence even though I said they were rubbish - still are! I have bought her a £35 slush puppy machine from b&m for Christmas so hopefully that will be better!

We have an ice crusher she loves but is dead set on one of these. I was going to get one for each of my children and for my nieces too but maybe I should just get her one.

Nah they’re rubbish, just frustrating for the child for a mediocre result

My DC have them, they work fine and they’re happy with them! They might be easily pleased though.

If you have plenty of money to waste on one-use items, it fits the bill. Otherwise I would save your money.
My kids were delighted with it. Used it a few times. That was it.

We got slush puppy ones as stocking fillers. They're alright as a novelty. Need to be left in the freezer overnight, take forever to make the slushy the next day. If you want loads of slushys, buy one of the machines.

Ours are stored in the freezer during the summer, then you also need to make sure that you use juice that has been in the fridge all day. I’d never heard of them; my youngest got one as a gift from a friend, then my eldest wanted one too!
