Books like The Faraway Tree

My daughter who is 2.8 yrs is really enjoying the Faraway Tree, we read it to her at bedtime and she loves it! Any recommendations of books similar to this that she might enjoy. Thanks!

@Muststopeating my kids love Faraway Tree Stories on Yoto. I've just bought them the Jaqueline Wilson "New Adventures" book for their birthday and put it onto a make your own yoto card too to try. Lots of reviews on that saying it's so reminiscent of the original Enid Blyton books so I've got everything crossed they enjoy that.

I have also got them the Wishing Chair Stories on Yoto card for Christmas.

I will check out Brambly Hedge and some of the others on this thread.

The "Sam Pig" series of books by Alison Uttley. Absolutely loved these as a child. They are such imaginative magical stories. I think they may now be out of print but I found used copies of them for the DCs which they loved as much as I had, and I have kept the books even though the DCs are older now.

As PPs have said - Milly Molly Mandy also lovely and very gentle old fashioned stories
