Gift help for creative 11 year old please

So my niece is very creative and loves pushing herself to see what she can learn.

She's enjoyed cross stitching, and recently started to crochet which she loves.

Any idea what else I could start her on for Christmas? Knitting has crossed mind mind, but any other ideas would be much appreciated

Knitting would be great - but does she have a knitter at home to help her? It's not unusual to drop stitches when you are learning and she would need someone to help her pick them up if they drop below a few rows (probably not explained that very well but knitters will know what I mean!)

My DD was quite crafty. She enjoyed card making, scrapbooking and making & decorating cupcakes. She never took to cross stitch but I love it - maybe try her on a small kit and see how she enjoys it.

Needlefelting or wet felting? Dd loves doing both and designs can be as simple or as difficult as you choose or are able.

She also does macrame and raffia work and weaving. One of the joys of attending a Steiner school I suppose.

Needle punching has become quite popular recently. I cross stitch and needle punching is my next project!

Origami?

Sugarcraft - local group might run sessions for kids?

How about diamond painting/art?
