Christmas tv has already started!

Turned on the TV to see Nigella making her festive favourites (thank you Food Network) cuts to the ad-break and the first advert was a Christmassy one. Have we clicked over now into full-on Christmas mode do you think?

I'm not against it btw, just taken me a bit by surprise 🙂

I hope not. Once Remembrance Sunday is finished bring it on, but not before then.

There has been a Very Christmas ad on for a little while now…I have never bought from Very and I will now avoid them like the plague.

I know it seems to get earlier each year, hearing the music gave me a jolt that it's Christmas next month 😳

A lot of the Christmas adverts air this week. I think marks and Spencer is tomorrow.

My goodness, perhaps I've been so busy engrossed in Netflix that I've missed some of this. I've not been very observant, clearly!

I’ve been getting Christmas emails for probably about two weeks- I think lots of retailers are worried, and I get it, many people are cutting down this year, (myself included!) so they want people buying as soon as possible.

I’ve had the Food Network on all day today in the background while I work, with Nigella putting her pomegranate seeds on everything and the Hairy Bikers pinching recipes from housewives up and down the country. I’m just keeping an eye out for 80s Delia which pops up each year. One of the music channels is now permanently Christmas music. It’s lovely.

My neighbour works for Next she said they have ridiculous targets and they have had Christmas stuff in store since September!!! She said their stockrooms are rammed but year on year people just aren't spending as much as they have done in the past.

She said they also had a staff meeting to discuss whether late night shopping would be viable!!!
