Reborn doll?

Hi all
So my dd5.5 has been asking for a reborn doll for Christmas. If you have previously bought one, where did you purchase it from? I’m worried about buying one online as it may end up looking like it’s from Wish 😂 Ones on Amazon have very mixed reviews so I’m a bit hesitant I must admit. I don’t want to spend TOO much money of course, but I want it to look fairly realistic if possible 🙌

Thank you!

100% recommend Mary Shortle shop in York if you are nearby or online if not. We've had a couple from Amazon that are truly awful! My daughter is a reborn fanatic

Treasure tots on Facebook are v.good, you can ask her to put less weight in them if your child is younger, they usually weight around 5-6lbs. I was very impressed.

Have you seen the tiny treasures dolls if she'd accept that, better for her I think. My dds loved them.

IvysReborns on Instagram/Etsy are fab! They're about £100 if I remember correctly but are worth it. My daughter has 2.

Another vote for tiny treasures dolls from Argos, they are weighted and really lovely dolls. I wouldn't recommend a proper reborn doll for a five year old, they're quite delicate and not designed for full on play. If you do decide to get a reborn have a look at cherish-dolls.com/ There are lots of scam sites for reborns, if it looks too good to be true it probably is!
