Hi all,

I'm not sure if this thread has been created already, so apologies if I've just missed it!

I thought we could share what our 2-3 year old little ones will be getting for Christmas this year, to help out anyone stuck for ideas for this age group or for anyone who is just wanting to have a nosy under someone else's Christmas tree 😉

my DS will be 2.8 at Christmas

from DH & I he is getting

  • Bike + helmet (Spiderman theme)
  • Thomas the tank engine motorised train track

Santa

  • Pop up pirate board game
  • Stocking (Santa's had a brain fart & can't remember what's in it atm) 😳

Grandparents

  • Toy kitchen + accessories
  • Farm toy set
  • Not sure what else, they are keeping tight lipped

Aunties/Uncles

  • Paw patrol Dino set + extra accessories
  • Money
  • Not sure what else, they are keeping tight lipped also!

I hope this has helped someone! Please share what you've gotten or are getting down below 😊

I normally get a few bath toys/squirter things to replace the mouldy ones.
Intrigued by what "farm in a box" is, some kind of mini farm?

DD (2 years 9 months at Christmas) is getting:

From us:
Rc racer car
Train set
Magna tiles
A duplo set
Dressing gown
Board game

From Santa
Jigsaw
Gabby's dollhouse figures for her stocking
Probably some hair accessories for her stocking

My parents:
Paw patrol tower that my mum picked up 2nd hand for £2!!
Some paw patrol figures
Buzz lightyear

DHs dad and stepmum;
Duplo sets

DHs mum:
Talking Bluey
Magnasketch

She'll probably get a mix of books and puzzles in there as well. Maybe some pj's and slippers.

At the min it feels like it's verging on too much, so I may hold back the rc racer until her birthday in March. Although we barely get her anything outside of Christmas/birthdays so i may just throw caution to the wind and let her have it all 🤣

DS will be 3.2 at christmas and will be getting:

From Mammy and daddy: Playmobil 123 zoo

From Santa: Toot toot garage (hopefully second hand if I can find it)

Pop up pirate
Couple of jigsaws
Couple of books
Melissa and doug reusable stickers
Playdoh fun factory
Glow in the dark stars
Stocking is tiny and will probably have bubbles and a couple of those balls you get out of those £1 machines with little toys inside. He's obsessed but it's very rare I let him have one.

I think grandparents are getting him a scooter and a toy shop.

The toot toot garage was reduced to £25 in Smyths last week from £45. Not sure if it still is though

@WimbyAce something like this Apples to Pears Farm Set Gift in a Tin amzn.eu/d/8LJnVvK

No idea if it's and good, saw it recommended on a Mumsnet thread about portable toys for when you want them to keep quiet at restaurants and stuff (for which we currently make liberal use of a screen! But thought it would be nice to try an alternative)
