Light-up scooter recommendations please?

DD saw scooters with light-up wheels in Tesco, but when I googled the product (Evo) it has terrible reviews with multiple people reporting the wheels falling off etc.!

Can anyone recommend me a different scooter with light-up wheels suitable for a fairly tall three-year-old please? One with two wheels at the front as she's never had one before!

Thanks so much!

Absolutely a micro scooter. Many options including light up wheels. Got my 2 DC ONE 2 years ago, still used daily.
they are a bit pricier but such good quality.

Yes to micro scooter, DS has the green one where all the plastic bits are made from recycled fishing nets, which I thought was nice. He loves the light up wheels

DS has had his two years this Christmas, still going strong

We got a mini micro scooter for my LO birthday recently with light up wheels, it's fab!

I also got an evo before I saw all the bad reviews 🤦🏻 It’s been ok so far but that’s probably because dd hates it and has barely used it 😏

Mini Micro, ours is in heavy use and does well. Have also been able to replace worn/broken parts easily by ordering them from Micro (brake, back wheel).

Aldi have one for £30 with light-up wheels, DS got one for his birthday earlier this year and it’s holding up well, also has an adjustable handle bar. DD inherited a Micro from her cousin but actually prefers the Aldi one!

I bought 2 Evo light up scooters from Tesco last year. They’re perfect and my DC use them every day to and from school.

I think they were only £20 each. I don’t think you can go wrong for the price.

My daughters have Globber master lights scooters.
They're great. Used for about 5km on school days.

MadeForThis · 20/10/2022 20:48

Globber scooters are great.

Twilightstarbright · 20/10/2022 21:22

Globber is excellent.

All 4 Dc have Globber scooters they are fab, look great in the dark. Used daily for school and for longer outings. We live rurally and they go on lanes, tracks and mud and still work fine 2 years later. One had the brake snap off, but they replaced it as it was only weeks after purchase. It wasn’t the scooter, Ds got a stick wedged in there.

Thanks everyone! I've picked out a couple I think would be perfect and sent to DH for his thoughts!
