Instant Camera

I'm thinking of getting my son one of those Polaroid type instant cameras but am being bamboozled by the variety. Does anyone have any recommendations please.

My DD has the Polaroid snap. It is reasonably good although takes less good picture than a mobile phone. It's worth getting one that allows you to choose whether to print or not. Some print every picture you take and that would mean a lot of duff pictures. And the film is pricey.

If your son has a mobile then id consider a sprocket which prints the pictures from that. My dd didn't at the time, hence the Polaroid.
