Hello!
I'm on the hunt for transforming toys, please help!

I'm thinking Transformers but some of them look so complicated! They're for my soon to be 5 year old son. He keeps talking about "transforming" and he has a postman pat van that's turns into postman pat robot that he loves. He was fascinated the other week at church by a boys car that turned into a robot but I wasn't able to see the brand of it.

B&m do transmutes but I don't know how complicated they are or the quality? Transformers on amazon look tricky!

Please help and advise!
Thank you 😊

These all look good thank you so much! I've come across transformers titan changers from age 6 as well whilst searching the recommendations you gave.

We have the transformers which are easy to switch. Symths sell them and they are rescue bots. My ds had had some since he was 3, he's coming up for 5 and still plays with them often.
He also has the vtech switch and go, they are great too.

Thank you for this!
Can I ask, regarding the transformers, how many steps does it take to convert the ones you have please? There's so much choice, I notice alot are 15 steps! 😮

Pretty much 1-2 steps, they just open up from car to robot. So easy for little hands too. We've had them from age 3. The one called wedge my dad sometimes struggles with. We have about 4 of them and the fireman sam one you mentioned he has.

Fab thank you!

To be honest, he's not really into dinosaurs, so the robot car would appeal more to him.

Thank you so much for recommendations, I've just picked these up in Asda reduced to £28 so very happy as I'd saved them to my amazon wish list from this thread!
