So, what are you buying the men in your life? We've had jam, gin, wine, whiskey and now I need something new. I'm considering Fortnums feasting advent which is pretty £ but looks amazing. Any other ideas?

DH buys his own, a beer52 one , his excuse is that as he's a founder member he gets it at a discount

DH is having a Lego Star Wars this year. And a sock one, not sure which one yet. Probably Avengers

I've bought beer ones for the last few years.. I think this year I'll get the one mentioned upthread with the pork scratchings.

We’ve got Lindt balls advent calendars with 24 different flavours. I usually buy them in the bags but we end up eating too many at one go so thought this way we would appreciate them more.

Does he like puzzles? My husband and I did the Exit escape room advent calendar last year and loved it. There are no gifts, you have to solve the day’s puzzle to discover the next door. Some days it took us a few minutes, other days about half an hour.

I am sure I saw a condom advent calendar somewhere last week. That would be a nice calendar.

A Cheesies Advent calendar was last year's choice.

I got DH a Nespresso vertuo one this year. Last year he had a beer one. Whisky and rum ones also look good.

Last year I got my other half a 'beauty' one. Basically had shower gel, flannel, deodorant. Even had USB thing. Got from amazon

I’ve bought my husband a pokémon card one, I’ve also made him one as well of little stocking filler things, favour notes etc.

I'm getting DP the M&S biscuit one.

I had chocolate bar calendar for dh but that now goes to dd. Dh is so tight with money that I assume he is happiest without any calendar.

Mine says we're too old for them and little one isn't old enough yet. I had a cereal bar one once when I was at uni

We were shopping at M&S a few days ago and DH bought himself their Science museum advent calendar with facts about planets.
