For a 6 and 8yo to share. Thanks.

Regular. I have a regular its great. They don't need the extra expensive screen especially as at that age it may get dropped/lossed.

OLED is better if they play through the TV. Switch 2 might be coming out at some point.

I read that about the Switch2 but I don't think they'd be impressed waiting another year or more :)

How much better is the OLED? They probably will play via the TV, we have (pk DH has, and lets us use!) a pretty big TV.

Following as we are doing the same for our boys 6 and 8 this Christmas.

Question, if I may - do you think one shared between two is okay? I was going to get one each because of the fighting over who's turn it is if they're using the handheld.. but would love to halve the cost if not necessary!

I was hoping (this year anyway) to get games like Mario Party and Mario Kart that they can play together. If they play Fortnite one can play along on the mobile version. They're fairly limited on screen time anyway so I'm hoping one would be sufficient. Certainly my DSis and I only had one Nintendo NES to share 😂
