Drone Flying Experience?

Hi,

My 10 year old is desperate for a drone for Christmas. I don’t really mind buying one but I think that the ones we would be able to afford would be flimsy and may be disappointing. They have been asking for 3 years though and I feel guilty not at least thinking about the request.

I was wondering if there were any places which offer drone flying experiences?

Failing that, any experience of drones for 10 year olds?
