I have a niece who is coming up to 19 and her sister is 16. The older one is starting uni but living at home. Older one is arty but I feel like I've done all the art-based gifts and don't really know what she'd already have anyway! Younger one is more into science/history but also a little crafty.
The older one has her birthday before Christmas too, so I need to get my skates on with that one.
What are you getting for this age group? Neither are really into anything beauty wise though I've done zero-waste soap and shampoo before which was appreciated, but perhaps has already been done.

My nieces are similar ages and always ask for H&M vouchers or make up but they always send me a link for which one.

I don't think either of them would be bothered about makeup but vouchers are always good.

Dsd’s are getting (aside from clothes vouchers and make up) a bubble tea kit, a night sky projector thingy for their room and cinema vouchers. If I think of anything else I will come back and add to the list!

Amazon vouchers always a winner if you really don't want to send cash.

My dd16 is always appreciative of a Nando’s/Starbucks/costa voucher. She also really likes her diffuser with the oils and still buys her wax melts.
I find she’s very into her room and loves the cushions from typo - they do floor cushions for about £20 (sometimes two for £30) and they’re a nice size.

It sounds boring but vouchers for that age. Add a chocolate Santa (you're never to old) and maybe a novelty tree ornament and you're done !!

snowmanshoes · 15/09/2022 17:07

Just checked at typo (cotton on website) and floor cushions are now £25 or buy one get one 50 % off. Lots of colours.
also forgot to add silk pillowcases. Yet to come across a teen girl who doesn’t like these!

Restaurant vouchers sound good for the student!

@snowmanshoes totally off topic but I can't navigate that site at all. I wanted to look at the MTV cushions but I can't work out how to - nothing is clickable for me. Think it is time for bed 😂

Older one - Wetherspoons, Greggs or Starbucks/costa vouchers
Younger one : cinema, Greggs, Costa/Starbucks vouchers

Let's them go out and socialise even when skint!

Voucher- New Look, H&M or whatever they like to shop at. Add chocolate or a coffee/hot chocolate/tea set if they are into this.

I found DD is very picky about certain things and definitely prefers to choose herself. I now get exact Etsy or Amazon links.

Ours love getting cinema or restaurant vouchers.
