Advent calendar help

I'm looking for an advent calendar that can fit just little pieces of paper in (which I write activities on), BUT I then like to be able to see what was on the previous days.

So more than just pockets or boxes, because it's nice to look back over the month and see how far we've come/how far to Christmas, and what we've done so far.

For the last five years I've been using one I made myself. It's got little pegs stuck to a corkboard, and each peg holds a little envelope with a number on. Once they take that day's paper out, the paper can be pegged back in front of the envelope. But it's falling apart now and I'm ready to invest a bit in the right thing - if only I can find it!

Any suggestions?

You could use a fabric advent calendar combined with your mini pegs.

This is a calendar that I made from a kit a couple of years ago but the are ready made ones on Etsy for example. You could put a slip of paper and a mini peg in each pocket and then use the peg to pin the paper slip on the outside of the pocket each day.
