Kids camera recommendations plz

This may end up being a birthday present or Xmas, but my son (coming up to 9) has mentioned he would like a camera, I'm guessing so he can do videos of his skateboarding/being crazy and the option of taking pics as well. Does anyone have any recommendations please? I've seen mixed reviews for kidizoom? Cameras on amazon. Many thanks x

For a 9 year old don’t bother with a kids one (he’ll find it baby-ish very soon)
just buy a normal digital point and click one
