when should i take the tree down?

I'm unfeasibly grumpy because my tree hasn't dropped a single pine needle yet and I feel I can't take it all down yet! Although feeling slightly claustrophic with all this stuff in my house.

we have guests until tomorrow

then i want to tidy the house and rearrange all our furniture and chill a little

only then will i take the decs down, so saturday probably

DH & DS's are busy doing it now. How did I swing that? Putting the time to good use tho'

dh took ours down earlier, think im going to get a real one next year and stick it outside.

I'm desparate to take ours down but it's huge and dh on nights so can't do it yet! It's driving me mad - keep treading on needles and they're bloody sharp! Kids have 'redecorated' the tree so it looks really ropey and tatty!

ds1 hoovered all the mess up, he's only two and he loves hoovering.

Saturday before sundown (12th day).

mine is down and the house has been cleaned thank god, all the bloody cards and stuff were driving me nuts
