I know it all tastes crap but DD really wanted one for Xmas (& I managed to get it half price).
But the bloody thing doesn't even work. Any ideas / tricks on how to make the cakes just rise a little?

no idea what you use but could you add baking powder?

kerryk · 29/12/2007 10:24

dd2 was desperate for this but i cound not understand how it would work.

where did you manage to get it half price?

and how much was it to start with?

cleaninglady · 29/12/2007 15:39

whydowedoit - i am having same issue! and i paid full price (£25) its a load of rubbish and nothing happened so ive shoved it all back in box! havent even kept receipt so cant take it back otherwise it would be on its way back to argos now!!!

SleighlyMadSanta · 29/12/2007 16:00

If it has the argos cat No on the side take it back....that verifies you brought it from them.

They may not take it if it has been "used" but worth a try.

SleighlyMadSanta · 29/12/2007 16:01

Oh and I couldn't see how it would work so I refused to let DTDs put it on their lists

I might put a strongly worded letter of complaint to Mr Disney himself seriously though £25 and its rubbish !!! i could have bought a toy oven which is essentially all its ended up as am still cross can you tell

kerryk - got it half price at Wilkensons, though still appears to be a waste of £12.99!
