Help. Can't remember who gave what to my DC's

Usually pretty good when it comes to remembering who gave what to the DCs at Christmas time. But this year I was feeling ill and far too whoozy to manage. Most people are OK with a phone call to give general thanks from everyone but aged auntie is a stickler for proper letters. Is it OK to just write 'thankyou for my present'?

I think it's better to write 'thank you for my present' than nothing at all.

I think it's best to come clean and say dd unwrapped some of the presents without you noticing who they were from - which one did you give her? Then you can thank them properly.
