My H got me nothing! He got DS nothing as well, I got all DS's presents for him.

I had nothing from H (from DS) apparently he brought it all and left it in the pub - went back in but it had gone why do I not believe him - a home made card would have done for me have to wait till payday apprently thou

nothing nope - but I did get a lovely message from NG/BT which more than made up for H being an hour late and his lack of thought! lol.

will jsut make lots of lovely pictures with DS's new crayons later on to stick on my wall

think it's the cheap ones - I got DS some in a boxed set thingy about a month ago - one scribble ther'es nothing left of them and bearly a mark on the paper - good thing thou when he decided to use them on the table!

well i get to spend christmas with my Steve that is better than a brought pressie any day of the week.

The sad thing is that Dh really tried... I could see how pleased he was when he came back from the shops last week. but he got me leather gloves which are too small and not warm enough and impractical to wash considering all the grotty things my gloved hands have to do re children, socks which are half acrylic (scratchy, makes my feet itch), and a really hideous wooly hat -- pink plaid. Luckily it's too small, too, so I have an excuse to exchange it!

I am sooo jealous of your dictionary, jellies!!! That is something thoughtful, honest, useful, and hopefully to do with what he thinks you will actually use rather than something show offy like some men do.

Mine got me an electronic chess set - I thought he'd bought it for ds1 but, alas not!!!!

Alongside the two small presents I bought for myself, mine bought me a paper filing system that he wanted for himself from Rymans, some melted chocolate, a mug and two nylon flags.

I got all excited unwrapping them thinking he'd bought me real presents too...

I got a wodge of money thrust at me by dp when we were in my car on way down to my parents on Christmas day.......what do you reckon on that then?? I know how i feel.....
