Did anyone else get a letter from Waitrose about organic turkey's?

My dH was rather mystified when Waitrose wrote to him using his name apologising profusely that they would not be providing such turkey's due to the recent coverage etc. However they would provide anyone who has put in an order for one to be given a £10 gift voucher as an apology, but most customers had returned the voucher asking Waitrose to forward it onto the Farmers!

Fair enough!!!!

But my DH has never ever shopped in Waitrose, so where on earth did they get his name from!

I got one ,but I do shop there and have JL

credit card.Never ordered a turkey though.

I got one, and was a bit puzzled by it. Have shopped there once or twice (too far away to go regularly). A bit strange.

Well then it gets stranger and stranger as we do not shop in Waitrose and we do not have a John Lewis credit card!

Email them back and ask - there shoud be an address of some description the email.

PS The bit about people returning their vouchers for the farmers is absolutley true.

What did kind of worry me was where on earth did they get DHs name from?
