Is it worth doing ? I’m thinking of doing an order

Search for Christmas regular savings accounts. These lock the money away (mostly) and pay better interest than most savings. Plus you have proper government bank account protection and can spend wherever you want.

I used park for the first time for Christmas. I didnt get the vouchers I got a card that can be used in all shops and online like a Mastercard.. its not the same as the vouchers or the love2shop card which is for specific stores.

Standing order from ur bank to a savings account every month and forget it about it until nearer the time!

@Newyearoldyou ah yes I see! I’m the same way as you sorry. Hadn’t thought through there could be two ways

I use a tin. One of those you have to open with a tin opener. I put £50 in each payday and also any change daily less than 50p. Open it in November and start all over again.

@Bagelsandbrie there is some guarantee for 50% of your savings whereas in a bank they would all be protected.
