Vacuum packed chestnuts

Have just lovingly made my stuffing, washed down with a bottle of Prosecco, and realised I’ve left the chestnuts out. Does anyone know any other easy quick recipes that include them?

Lardons and Brussels sprouts in a pan then add chestnuts.

I just wap them in foil with salt/pepper and butter and cook for about 30 mins

There's a nice Hugh FW recipe for leek and chestnut risotto. It's basically a simple risotto with leeks, then you fry up the chestnuts in butter with some salt and pepper and add them on top. It's delicious!

If you haven't cooked it yet then just chop them and mix them through the stuffing.
