Hob playing up - help!

My induction hob has decided to play up this morning. Got an E9 error and managed to finish cooking breakfast after that but am now very concerned as I’m cooking for 8 tomorrow. Oven still all good and we do have a gas camping stove we can use in case, but I was thinking I’d need to use 3 spots for veg and gravy.

Planning to pre-boil my potatoes later and that will tell me if it’s a problem, but need to think ahead if it fails. I’ve got a microwave, slow cooker and rice cooker but no electric steamer annoyingly.

Anyone got any tips? I’ve got a big pot I can cook most of the veg in together and I guess could try cooking some in the microwave or slow cooker.

Well... From googling it seems to be fixable by unplugging for 30 seconds and then plugging back in, but the second step if that doesn't work is get someone to come and fix it. So not sure if that's a good idea if it's still working now!

I've had this! About a month ago. Definitely switch it all off (at the wall) and leave it for at least 30 minutes. Fingers crossed it should then work (note that the clock will now be out if you use that). I tried for 30 seconds and it didn't make any difference. But 30 minutes meant that it reset itself. Fingers crossed!

Ahh ok thank you! Will switch it off for a while now and hope it works later. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
