Main present broken! Toniebox

I'm so gutted... I live outside the UK and had my mun send me a toniebox for my 2 Yr old daughters main present. Ive got it out to set it up and its just stopped working. It won't light up blue, I've tried to restore to factory settings... I think I will end up paying a fortune to ship it back and now she doesn't have a main present.
Has anyone had issues with tonieboxes before? I'm so gutted!

I didn't want to read and run, I can't help with the toniebox issue but your 2yo really won't care about not having a main present, so it will be a bonus present later on once you've got it sorted xxx

To connect your Toniebox to a Wi-Fi network, you have to put the Toniebox in connection mode first. To do this, hold down both ears until the LED lights up blue and it makes an audio signal. Once you hear this, you can then let go of the ears. You will need to wait until it makes a second audio signal before you can connect your smartphone, tablet or PC to your Toniebox.

Important: Make sure that you are really holding down both ears together and at the same time, only letting them go when you hear the first audio signal.
