Trying to meal plan as doing the dreaded shop tomorrow. Apart from Xmas day and Boxing Day I need some ideas. So bored with what we normally eat.

Monday - eating out
Tuesday - tuna pasta bake
Wednesday - Nando's chicken and mash
Thursday - pizza
Friday - Lasagna
Saturday - Xmas dinner
Sunday - leftovers or if people want a proper meal lamb biryani
Monday - either the lamb biryani or we have plenty of bits in the freezer

Then I will do another shop on Tuesday.

Well I came to say "my bodyweight in crisps, chocolate and gin", but I see this is a sensible thread. Tbh I'm winging it. There will no doubt be lots of "freezer surprise" as I'm trying to empty it a bit for Christmas goodies. I'm of the opinion that pretty much anything can be thrown into a pasta bake. Failing that omelette and oven chips, or home made soup (from frozen veg or the uncarved halloween pumpkins that are still loitering in my kitchen). Christmas eve is always pizza here.

Pork tacos, boursin chicken pasta, chicken red pesto orzo, sausage casserole and maybe a slow cooked lamb curry depending on if I can get the lamb cuts I need. Will have party food on Christmas eve and boxing day

@onedayoranother

Tonight my daughter made chilli. Tomorrow I'm making Jamie Oliver's hit and run chicken (quadruple the oil, vinegar and paprika), Monday will be ... nope don't plan that far ahead but we are trying out meat free Mondays so will have to think. Chicken Kiev probably later in the week - just the usual stuff we eat every week. I have ordered a luxury fish pie for Christmas Eve but the reaction of my kids leads me to believe it will be takeaway which suits me fine!
We are also trying meat free Mondays or at least one meat free day. We are really liking qouorn tacos at the moment as its an easy freezer and cupboard meal. Frozen quorn mince, frozen soffrito mix, taco kit, tin of kidney beans then cheese and salad to serve

I only have a vague idea but.....

Mon....sausage and butternut squash tray bake
Tues ...pizza
Weds....meal out
Thurs....hotpot from the bakers, crusty bread, red cabbage
Fri....buffet lunch with family, cheese and crackers when home
Sat....Christmas day
Sun....leftovers eg bubble and squeak

Not sure on plans for following week but probably usual meals.
