Ideally without pods although I could be convinced.

I could be willing to for out if it makes excellent coffee. Brew Thanks

We have the De'Longhi Caffe Corso - it's bean to cup and it's a bit noisy (esp when you turn it on) but the coffee is great!

I have a Sage Bambino Plus and it's a great machine for me. It makes great drinks, steams milk well on the autofrothing function, is easy to use and clean and has a small footprint on the counter. Below is a Youtube review of it - the channel has a whole series on this machine and several other widely available coffee machines. Not sure what your budget is or what style of coffee you want to drink.

We are coffee addicts in our house and grind our own beans. We have an aeropress, a nespresso machine, a stove top moka pot and another press. My favourite is the moka press tbh. Have you tried them before? It makes the best espresso which you can then add boiling a water to for an americano or steamed milk for cappuccinos etc

We have a Delonghi autentica cappucino and it's one of the best things we have ever bought

Same, we have this. It's loud but great for making multiple coffees which was difficult with our Moka pot. Easy to clean, love it.

Delonghi magnifica.... its a bean to cup with a steamer wand. everyone in my wider family has one and noone has a bad word to say about them... going strong after 8 years. You can pick them up for around £250 but I saved that very quickly from not buying a latte on the way to work! Also no plastic waste so bonus and coffee grounds great for compost.

Came on to recommend this one - great machine.

I love my Rocket Giotto. You need a separate grinder. Once you have the grind right for your tamper pressure it makes the best coffee. I drink tea in cafes because their coffee is grim compared to what I can make at home.

MamaWeasel · 19/12/2021 19:56

My husband, he makes great coffee 🤣😁

Corty02 · 24/06/2022 09:32

Cuisineart one of the best brands of coffee makers. I have this one and I haven't faced with any troubles. But also I used to have Rocket Giotto which is really worthy to buy. So it depends on what do you want from your coffee maker

I have a Gaggia Brera but you'll only get great coffee with great coffee beans.

I use a mocha pot when I go camping or holiday in the UK at a cottage etc and still get the same level of coffee because I carefully choose my beans.

There's absolutely no point in spending £££ on a coffee machine then using beans you've bought in Tesco.

There's a wonderful world of independent bean roasters out there.

An Aeropress - seriously, it makes the best coffee I've ever tasted. Takes a bit more effort to make rather than just sticking a cup under a machine and pressing a button, but the end result is so much better.

We have a Delonghi magnifica. A little noisy as it is bean to cup, but it means no waste and great coffee! We also have a mini krups nespresso for decaf coffee, as changing the beans in the delonghi is a pain, and we only make decaf once a week or so. We use L’Or capsules, which are aluminium, rather than plastic.

I got DH one the other year and he loves it! He's having fun discovering all of the independent roasters out there!
