Board games for adults

Any recommendations please?

It's for me, my dd (18) and my mum, but I would ideally like something that can also be played by just 2 people for when we're not all together.

We already have Carcassonne, Splendor, Azul, Century Spice Road and dd and I have Duel. We love them all.

I'm going to get another expansion for Carcassonne (we already have the first two), but would like something new as well.

Pandemic (no, seriously) or any of their spin offs - we like Rising Tide - but the original is the best.

We have enjoyed playing blockus, rummikub, sequence and dobble

@MinnieJackson

You can just do your own categories. I play Stop the Bus with my pupils. Some of my categories are:

Something squashy
Something green/yellow/red/white etc
Something you sit on
Something pointy
Something sweet
Something from the kitchen/bathroom/classroom/gym etc
Something from the past
Something shiny
Something you win
Something that flies

And so on.

We like to play Concept when we have enough people.

All the family can play Uno, Dobble, and Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese is really good fun.

CamelUp is good. We tend to google "Spiegle den jahren" every so often and try out whatever won. Wingspan was my bday pressie last year and was fun

Chameleon is very funny

The other Azuls are great if you don't have them. Current favourite of ours is Quacks of Quedlingburg, so much fun! OOoh also love Calico and cascasia, patchwork is two player. Quest for Eldorado is brilliant. Lost Cities (the card game version) is also excellent, as is The crew (planet 9 is the first one, we haven't played deep sea yet)

Also agree Dominion is fantastic (Eldorado is similar, in that it's deck building, but also has the fun of a board). Code names duet is fun too
