Forgot ginger bread house where can I get one

Top tip for gingerbread houses, use royal icing to glue them together rather than the crap they give you. Royal icing is like cement. 🤣 It's just egg whites and icing sugar.

I've only ever made them from scratch and only ever used royal icing - what on earth do they give you if it's not that?

You could use caramel but I can't see how they would package that other than giving you a bag of sugar and telling you to boil it

A little bit of sugar icing (water and icing sugar) in a pre filled tube with a nozzle, it's hopeless and because it takes so long to dry the house falls down once you get the roof on.

Meanwhile royal icing turns to cement in a matter of minutes enough to support the roof after the walls have been given a good 15-20 minutes to set in place. 😂

Oh I missed that @Fallagain, we just picked ours up at the till! We made ours with the recipe that was in the box for royal icing. I can now confirm it all tasted really good

Aldi. Buy it made in a box. Stick sweets on. Done
