Nintendo switch game

Can anyone please reccomend a good game for the Nintendo switch? It's for my girls, they are 10 and 12. Their favourites are the 1,2 switch, just dance and donkey kong. Any reccomendations appreciated. Thanks.

Would they enjoy Mario Kart 8? It's a racing game. My boys love pokemon and minecraft but I guess it will depend on their interests

Have they got Animal crossing?

Mario Party 100% if they’re into interactive games they can play together

Animal crossing is lovely but you can only have one game saved on it. Mario Kart is good for playing together and you can of course play it by yourself too.

Pikmin! My DD is 12 and loves this game. It’s really cute without being babyish at all.

My ten year old loves Splatoon, as do his school friends, they play together online.
Have to admit, whilst not a gamer in the slightest, I’ve become pretty hooked too.
We have bought the new mario party superstars as a family present this year as thought it looked fun for us to play together on Christmas Day.

@Mykittensmittens & @Queuing4Fergs which pokemon game do your children have? I'm torn between the switd and sheild version.

@Beautiful3 I think 1 DS has Sword and the other has Shield and I have no idea which, if either, is better. I'm sure they'll live either if you think pokemon would be a hit

I’d second Mario Party, I enjoy playing that with my teens. You can either play it like a board game by making your way around the board, rolling the dice and playing little games depending on what squares you land on, or you can choose quick individual mini games to play. The new one Mario Party Superstars has recently come out too.

@Beautiful3 not Pokémon - PIKMIN! It’s a lovely game filled with little alien creatures that are super cute. The come out of a flying saucer and run around in groups - it’s platform play. It’s the only game my 12 yo DD will play.
