Stocking fillers for 16 year old boys and “kids” in their early 20’s

This year will be the first year in 6 years we’ve had my DS and DP’s kids for the whole of Christmas. I’m excited about it and want to spoil them and do stockings as well as their main gifts. Any ideas? Can think of loads of bits for DSD but the boys are proving more difficult. Any ideas? They’re 23 and 16.

Wine/beer/spirits for over 18s? Posh sweets for under 18s? Spare charger, nice socks, travel mug etc.

justpoppy · 11/12/2021 14:21

Travel mug is a good idea. I’d not thought of that one.

Fake snow 🤣. My DDs were 19 last xmas and pleaded for the fake snow I had brought for my 5 year old niece.

gogohm · 11/12/2021 14:54

I've bought long charging leads, chocolate money, socks so far. Same situation, all 4 kids together ... bought coordinated stockings

ONGC that sounds like so much fun. Did it make a mess though?

Pack of pens
Mini patterned flannels that turn into proper flannels with water
New / long phone charger leads
Sweets and chocolate
Mini bubble bath
Cute socks
Stamps (for one at Uni)
Disposable razors (for both genders, as they use for legs etc)
Beanie hat with a torch in it
Craft things

ncsmummy · 11/12/2021 15:35

My 19yo DS has got
Shower steamers
Wax melts
A personalised car air freshener
A big bottle of his favourite cleanser
Some nice socks
Cleaning putty
Robert Webbs book
Calendar
A jumper I got cheap on Black Friday
One of his favourite skincare items
Tea selection
There will also be some sweets and a scratch card.

justpoppy · 11/12/2021 16:12

Such fab ideas. I’ll definitely get them all some scratch cards.

So far I have

Slipper socks
Car air freshener (for the older two)
Phone leads
Gel keyboard cleaner
Signs for the younger twos room (gaming in process, do not expect eye contact or small talk Grin)
Lynx gift sets
Shower bombs
Chocolates
Will get some scratch cards
Pocket travel guides (eldest two planning to travel when they can)

Actually writing it all out like that, I think I have enough.

Arghhhh! I'm getting The Twitch. Shower steamers! And scratch cards! I don't know how I forgot those. My Mum always put them in our stockings. It was always good fun seeing if anyone won anything!

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 11/12/2021 16:28

For my over 18's stockings I've got:
Scratch cards
Mini vodka
Slipper socks
Deodorant
Bath bombs (for the girls)
Shaving gel (for the boys)
Chocolate coins
Mini stollen
Nuts/Bombay Mix
Diary (they all love to plan on paper)
Fancy topped pen (for the girls)
Spare phone charge cables (for the boys as they seem to break them quicker than the girls!!)
Chocolate orange for the toe

If I can find a couple more bits I will, might steal ideas from this thread Grin

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 11/12/2021 16:32

Might do hot sauce for the boys and a calendar each for the girls. That should do it!

Just the younger ones to sort out now!

BigSandyBalls2015 · 12/12/2021 08:25

Our stockings are basically like old fashioned sacks. They hold loads although they are never particularly full but the kids still love them as they’ve had them forever
HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 12/12/2021 14:26

We don’t have stocking, we have sacks.
