What to do the Elf tonight?

DD who is older has set him in the toilet with loo roll coming out of the closed door and inside elf is on the loo roll with Nutella evenly distributed - I'm not getting involved and DD is nearly 16 but fairly sure DS will think that's hilarious!

Decluttering and keeping the magic alive. Yes please.

In hospital with Covid. Should buy you a few days off as he recovers.....

I’ve written a list of simple ideas in my phone, one for each day. It saves having to think up ideas when you just want to go to bed, it takes 10 minutes, you’ll thank yourself!

Would've been more helpful if you'd just shared the list

Ours just plays hide and seek, no elf antics - just throw him somewhere and let them find him in the morning

Some of these are great.
The one my boys always remember is Spiderman dangling elf over the toilet by his ankles. And off the bookcase Spidey & the elf did not get on at all last year

Thank God our elf arrives with the tree so only 2 weeks of torment.

Ours are sitting on my DHs favourite glass espresso cups like little elf toilets. I have put some chocolate chips in the bottom of each glass & accessorised with a toilet roll and two little magazines made of cardboard. This is a running “in joke” in our house about DH spending all his time crapping on the bog reading magazines. Kids (both boys!) will laugh at anytime to do with poo.

Mine’s in the shower with a shower cap on and a shower puff with loads of bubbles all over him.
